I made a new friend a few months back who took me to brunch to talk about our startups and everything we have in common running them. Her name is London Sutherland and her company is Spun. Their Kickstarter launched TODAY, August 21st! I am so excited about this review!
Spun is a bed sheet company that has re-engineered the fitted and top sheet to fit more snugly on a bed so they stay put! When she showed me the pictures and videos of how it worked I knew I had to have a set. You guys, tucking in my sheets around the mattress had become some kind of awful ritual I had to do every morning and night to keep the sheets from popping off the mattress and causing uncomfortable loose wrinkles! I had had enough. Enter Spun sheets!
Prettiest packaging! My @spunsheets have arrived! (See my story for more info!) Their kickstarter launches August 21st! Mark your calendars if you want these or just want to support a fellow female startup 👊🏼 #kickststarter #femalefounders #femalestartup #femaleentrepreneurs #womenentrepreneurs #utahstartup #utahfounders #utahfemaleentrepreneur #utahgirlboss
First the fitted sheet goes on like normal but has some nice heavy duty but really pretty extra rubbery elastic on the inside to help the elastic stick around the corners. I ordered an extra deep California King and it fit perfectly even over our memory foam topper!
Next the top sheet is the cool part! The top sheet has fitted corners with a seam to define the corner and a flap on the end to tuck in under the mattress. Here it is shown below before I tucked the footer flap in.
Next tuck in the footer flap under the bottom of the mattress and voila! No more slipping, sliding, over-pulled top sheet. Now it just stays beautifully right where I put it!
My husband doesn’t like having the sheets tucked in by his feet so we will probably leave it tucked on his side. And that’s okay too! My side will be tucked clean and tight.
I love big white fluffy beds so throw on a fluffy white comforter and this bed is a total dream!

Don’t forget to pop over to Spun’s Kickstarter. You can even pledge small amounts like $5 for a Spun sleepmask!
