When you work somewhere as colorful as I do (see naming firm Eat My Words HQ) pink is a given work appropriate outfit color! Even if you don’t, you can bring the color to the office and make your work a more cheerful colorful place! Gone are the days of mandatory grey or black skirts or pantsuits. I believe in dressing how I’m feeling (or want to feel!) that day! Pink makes me happy, brightens up the room, and makes you absolutely unforgettable! This modest pink work dress is from Shabby Apple and is completely professional and feminine at the same time.
Photography for this post is by Nicholette Photography located in South Jordan, Utah and my beautiful lash extensions here are from Amazing Lash Studio American Fork (They’re so fluffy and gorgeous you can see them from far away!)
This pink and white color-blocked dress is called the Jive Talkin’ Dress Pink PP from Shabby Apple and it’s 50% off right now! I love the cut, color, and flattering lines of this dress. The way the color blocking defines the waist is beautiful. (It would be cute worn with a thin belt too!) The angled neckline and contrasting exposed zipper down the back are just a few of the pretty details that I appreciate. It’s a lightweight synthetic material (much thinner than it looks like it is) which is nice for sitting all day in (so much better than a stuffy suit skirt and jacket!) The shoulders are a little poofy, but it adds to the femininity of this unique dress!
