I’ve been crushing longingly on the colorful Triangl neoprene bikinis flooding my Instagram feed this summer… so I decided to find a modest version! A neoprene swimsuit I can wear without sacrificing my modest standards!
Neoprene swimsuits are everywhere this summer, at least according to Pinterest and Instagram! The problem is that most of them are itty itty bitty bikinis! Although they look cute when they are styled on a flat lay with other pretties that we see scrolling through our feeds, they are much more revealing when they are on; people are then no longer looking at the tiny swimsuit, but instead everything else that isn’t covered instead.
I’f you’re wondering why I cared to go to the trouble of finding a modest swimsuit, let me explain: I’ve made the decision to only wear modest swimsuits in public (so, no bikinis unless I’m on a private honeymoon/anniversary getaway with the hubs). I think they’re overly revealing of my body which I believe should be something saved for my husband’s eyes only.
Lucky for all of us, I found this darling modest neoprene swimsuit made by an adorable online modest swimsuit shop called Rad Swim or @radswim on instagram. This swimsuit comes as a separate top and bottom in various colors that can be mixed and matched however you like! I chose lime and blue and it turned out just as I’d hoped! Any of the color combinations would be super cute! You can wear the top either untucked or tucked in to the bottom! I really like how it looks tucked in because it gives it a vintage-bikini vibe so those are these first pictures below. Scroll down to the bottom of this post to see how it looks with the top untucked!
All of these colorful photos were taken by professional Utah photographer Diana Putnam Photography. (She just got a brand new website makeover and its gorg!)
You can also wear this swimsuit with the top untucked! (Keep in mind, I’m 5’3″ with a short torso so if you’re taller or have a longer torso then I imagine the top won’t be so long on you.)
I’ve got one more Radswim Swimsuit coming up on the blog this week! So get excited!! What an awesome summer it’s been!
