Easter Sunday is a special day. It’s so much more than pretty pastels, easter bunnies, and easter egg hunts. It’s the day that Christians like us celebrate the resurrection of the Savior Jesus Christ. This was the final event that completed Christ’s atonement for us, it made it possible for all of us to be resurrected one day too so that families can be together forever. Easter Sunday is a day I like do dress up in a pretty spring dress for church, family pictures, and yes, our family easter egg hunt! I love the classic cut of this dress, the natural waist, the full knee-length skirt, the high neckline, and the sleeves! The fabric is a nice spring thickness too! Best of all… it has pockets! You can get 20% of this and all other Downeast dresses with code SPRING20 through Sunday 3/20 so hurry hurry!
Nicholette Photography and I had so much fun shooting this easter look by the lake at Daybreak! Just look at those gorgeous mountains!
I styled this dress with nude/blush accessories. I’ve been looking for a cross-body length clutch-size nude bag for quite a while! This one was only $10 at H&M and it has a cute zipper and tassel accent. Perfect! I borrowed these suede nude lace-up heels from my blogger friend Sandy A La Mode and the pom poms are just adorable!!
I added a cute nude belt to tie into the nude accessories.
Have fun picking your Easter dress!
