This stunning black one-piece swimsuit is so flirty and flattering it’s simply summed up in the following: “Women who wear black live colorful lives.” -Neiman Marcus.
When modest swimwear shop Radswim shared this fantastic black one piece on their instagram with that fabulous quote it struck me and I just had to have it! As you can tell from most of my recent Spring/Summer looks, I’m obsessed with tassels and fringe so of course I went heart-eye-emoji status over this fringed swimsuit! I’d already been searching for modest one-piece swimsuits with more coverage in the front (more modest for a bigger bust) and I LOVE that this suit comes up high enough for me on the chest! The rest of the suit is perfectly fit and the removable straps are fun too! Definitely a winning modest swimsuit in my closet! Radswim also has the cutest mermaid-inspired swimsuit you have to see too!
I chose to use my cream tassel kimono from Hope Ave. as a coverup to complete this boho beach babe look. I love the continuation of the fringe theme and it’s linen fabric is perfectly breathable making it a perfectly comfortable addition to slip on when on the way back from the beach or pool. My beachbag of choice is my Musbags tote, a Guatemalan bag made of traditional huipils and genuine leather. It’s big enough to carry a towel, sunscreen, Mauibabe, a book, a notebook, snacks, and a puppy if you want! Use my coupon code EMILY15 for 15% off a bag at Musbags.com though the end of April!
These beautiful beachy photos were taken by Diana Putnam Photography at beach of the Great Salt Lake at sunset. She’s an absolute whiz behind the camera!
I wore this same suit at La Jolla beach near San Diego, California on vacation a few weeks ago! Psst! Pretend you didn’t see this second floral kimono yet! Third one-piece swimsuit post styled with this kimono coming next week!I’ve been thinking a lot about the message inside the quote I mentioned at the very beginning of this post,”Women who wear black live colorful lives.” -Neiman Marcus. We can lead colorful lives even if we think we’re not doing it the way everyone else does! Even if you think you’re boringly adorned in neutrals, your life contain so many dimensions beneath the surface! I spend most days in my little home office, eating pizza rolls for lunch, blogging a bit, bonding over netflix with my hubby, and spending time with my family; this IS a colorful life enriched even more fully by my passion for what I do, my beliefs in what’s important in the world, and my love for my family. I plan on starting a family, becoming a stay at home mom, working on the side a little (from home), enjoying my time with my family and yes, this is a colorful life! We need not worry that our lives aren’t living up to par like [we think] everyone else is. I love the popular saying, “Don’t compare your behind-the-scenes with everyone else’s highlight reel,” (aka anyone else’s instagram feed.)
