First off, the best part about this entire modest business professional outfit is that it’s thrifted! I sold a bunch of my wardrobe last summer before starting MBA school and used the money to stock up on business dress essentials! This post is my second of thrifted modest business outfits! (See Thrifted Modest Business Outfit #1 here!)
I bought this dress from blogger Jackie Welling at last summer’s Blogger Yard Sale that I hosted. Her closet was a dream! (The tag says S.I.L.K.) I thrifted these shoes from the Poshmark app, and thrifted this bag from a local consignment shop Plato’s Closet.
This dress is beautiful, classy, modest. I love the white and black windowpane print, the peplum, the v-neck, the cut, and the sleeves! My only complaint is that it is a little on the short side when it comes to sitting or wind, so it’s best worn indoors & is perfect for giving presentations!
So, I’ve actually picked a more perfect version of this dress if you are wanting a similar one! This one is $49 from target, and has long sleeves, better for winter! I think it would be cute with sweater tights and booties.
These photos were taken by my beautiful Utah photographer Diana Putnam Photography. This girl has been with me since the beginning of my blog and she always does the most amazing work!

I recently wore this same dress to a cocktail dress code event by simply removing the belt and wearing fancy heels!
